Almost forgot to mention that we also made some fantastic foam hats this weekend. It is clear that Henry is really loving his.

And for a totally random segue, Henry continues the tradition that Paw Paw started with Frankie...checking out the trashy girlie magazines.

Veggin' Out

Henry rolled over (tummy to back) this week. Frankie was a little more challenging than usual. He had a tiny sinus issue and that is all it took to bum him out. He had much fun outside though. We planted a sunflower and a pumpkin that we started from seeds inside a couple of weeks ago. I'm pretty certain they are not going to make it:( So much for teaching patience. On a positive, the large rock in the flower garden that I had planned to paint "Frankie's Flower Garden" is now a Pollock esque work of art and so are a pair of Frankie's trousers.

When he isn't reciting the alphabet, Frankie takes time to go over the nuances of the Exersaucer with Henry. Meanwhile, Henry is eating his way through the food chain this week. Today's new menu item, Prunes! I figure we will start with the least desirable fruit and work our way to those yummy bananas and applesauce. No worries though, Henry is working off the calories with some mini push-ups. Frankie continues to get his weekly workouts in swim class. He finally learned to blow bubbles instead of swallow water this week.

Enter Enrique "Henry" Oliver Diaz

Henry was born on November 15, 2008, a day before Frank's birthday. He too has had some mild colic, but has already overcome it and is a gorgeous, angelic, and just darn-glad-to-be-here little guy. His unique physical characteristics are what I love the most. He has some seriously messed up toes (got those from Mama) and he is nice and fat. Not sure where he got his laid back ways...certainly not from either of his folks.
