When he isn't reciting the alphabet, Frankie takes time to go over the nuances of the Exersaucer with Henry. Meanwhile, Henry is eating his way through the food chain this week. Today's new menu item, Prunes! I figure we will start with the least desirable fruit and work our way to those yummy bananas and applesauce. No worries though, Henry is working off the calories with some mini push-ups. Frankie continues to get his weekly workouts in swim class. He finally learned to blow bubbles instead of swallow water this week.

Enter Enrique "Henry" Oliver Diaz

Henry was born on November 15, 2008, a day before Frank's birthday. He too has had some mild colic, but has already overcome it and is a gorgeous, angelic, and just darn-glad-to-be-here little guy. His unique physical characteristics are what I love the most. He has some seriously messed up toes (got those from Mama) and he is nice and fat. Not sure where he got his laid back ways...certainly not from either of his folks.
Meet Francisco "Frankie" Miguel Diaz

Since Frankie is now 21 months and I'm just starting his blog, I guess I have some catch up work to do. Frankie was born June 18, 2007. Because he was five weeks early, he spent a few of days in the NICU, but really bounced back quickly. The first year was the best and most challenging of my life. With reflux, tummy issues, an inability to sleep for longer than 30 minutes at a time and some mild sensory perception issues, our sweet baby had a rather difficult time adjusting to life outside the womb. He has completely outgrown all of those issues and is now a darling, super smart, goofy, lovable and most charming guy. He is a dream big brother to Henry. He has some mad spatial and mechanical ability and he has learned his alphabet already! His sense of humor definitely takes after his sister's and his Papi's.
