3 Alarm Fire!!!

There we were minding our own business on a Saturday morning when we went to Hamilton Town Center for a little playtime and suddenly, we saw a fire truck. A really big, red fire truck with real firefighters. Mama, Papi, Henry and I stopped by to see what was going on. The Noblesville Fire Department was having a fire safety awareness day and I was able to get on the truck, sit behind the steering wheel, check out all of the cool gear they had and they even gave me my own fire fighting helmet. Wow, what a cool day!!!

Fish and Zebras and Giraffes and Elphants...Oh My!

On his second trip to the Indianapolis Zoo Frankie came face to face (or close enough) with some of the wildest creatures on earth.

Here he is taking an up close look at some tropical fish and wondering if that is what he ate last night.

He really enjoyed looking at the stripped horses, reminded him of football referees.

Here a giraffee is scratching its ear on a tree branch, Frankie really appreciates the resourcefulness of the creature.

Finally we saw an elephant taking a bath, and from the looks of it ol Jumbo over there needs to use more shampoo.

Up, Up and Away...

As much as Frankie loves machines, especially ones that fly, it is no wonder that he couldn't wait to take a ride on a Helium balloon. Our local living history museum, Conner Prairie just opened a new exhibit and Frankie was one of the first to try it out.

We rode in that large gondola you see in the picture and he loved every minute of it.

He looked very determined as he walked towards his date with destiny. Meanwhile Mama and Henry were safely watching from terra firma.

Over the River...

...and through rural Appalachia to Betsy's house we go! Henry and Hannah are spending quality time with Aunt Betsy. Henry seems to be interested in the stitching on Hannah's dress, Milan I am sure...

Here is Frankie taking a dip in Aunt Betsy's spa with Aunt Norma and his cousins Hannah and Haley. Henry was safely with Papi supervising the festivites and waiting for his chance to make a big splash.

Later he relaxed with a cold drink watching some Dora in his new chair that Paw Paw made for him.
